Our therapists treat a wide range of conditions, such as:
- Sports related injuries and return to play protocols
- Post operative rehabilitation for all types of musculoskeletal surgeries
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Elbow, wrist and hand pain
- Lower back, pelvic and hip pain
- Knee, ankle and foot pain
- Muscle, tendon and ligament injuries
- BPPV and Vertigo
- Headache and migraine
- TMJ dysfunction
- Home and gym based exercise programs for weight loss, strength, flexibility, balance and falls prevention, sports conditioning, and other specific diseases/conditions such as diabetes, stroke, arthritis and osteoporosis.
Our therapists include three core methods of treatment in each consultation:
- Manual therapy (e.g. massage, passive joint mobilisations) – they are ‘hands-on’ and not afraid to get into those tight sore areas.
- Advice & education – so you can better understand your injury and manage it independently.
- Exercise prescription – exercise is medicine and it has a dosage effect. Performing the right types of exercises, with the correct technique, at the most appropriate intensity, for the ideal amount of time, is essential to your recovery and may save you lots of time and hundreds of $$$ in consultation fees!
Our services also include dry needling, taping, bracing, thermoplastic splinting, and assisting with mobility aids. Please note we do not use electrotherapy modalities (e.g. ultrasound, interferential/TENS) due to their limited effect, risk of complications and reduced patient-therapist time.
